We had a bad storm last night; tornado watch and everything. The store was without power for nearly two hours…which left us closing it early, and unable to complete any of the work we had started. Today…we weren’t even able to play catch-up because of all the customers that came in.
But this morning I had started the day out rather discouraged to begin with. The nest looks unharmed for the most part, but it was completely empty. No baby robins…not even the parents giving their warning calls as I went near it. Nothing. The optimist in me wants to believe that they were big enough (I mean, they looked seriously cramped in there) to fly away on their own…but with winds and hail like what we had last night…you just never know.

Baby Animals! And then some!
ARE THE CUTEST! I feel like I’ve been surrounded by them, and most of them I don’t get to see on a regular basis!
Karper seems to be growing attached to the black little kitten from the litter of three at his place. Mama Karper says that they’ve got the litter in captivity, but the mother still remains rather elusive. Elusive, but friendlier towards the family! I consider that a step forward.
And over by my parents, the miniature horse farm has been blessed with three colts! And if you thought miniature horses were cute, wait till you see them as babies! It’s too much! I nearly die every time I walk by them!
Have you picked up on the three theme yet? Because it seemed that even the robins’ nest that appeared just outside of my porch was preparing for triplets as well! Unfortunately, I later found out that one didn’t make it. BUT OH! How excited I was to have a robins’ nest outside of my porch! Mom immediately informed me that this wasn’t in the lease agreement, but what can I do? The birds felt that area was the safest for their nest! I mean, if you think about it, it’s ideal for raising a family. You’ve got the church next door, plus the school across the street and even a bird feeder just off the shed for those late night cravings! You can’t get much better than that!

Oh! Plus I’ve gone through and made the third floor room…erm…the finished portion of the attic, turning it into the Kitty Play/Guest Room. Basically, it’s where my cats tend to hang out now, but will be open for any other feline guests that might come along whenever Mom has guests with allergies crashing at her place. ^_^ The girls love it up there, since it’s high up…has all their toys…some cushy beds that they actually use! That surprised me the most…PLUS! It’s the warmest room in the house. XD They occasionally come down to see me, when they’re hungry and feel the need to snuggle up to me. At least they’re using the space, which I feared that they’d completely ignore it. So glad they don’t! It actually makes me feel good that they’re using the beds and stuff I got for them!
Oh! And to top it all off, amongst all the pictures, including the wall paintings I FINALLY finished for my sister, are some other little progressive videos I made while doing some drawings I was inspired to play with. Enjoy!

So Kermit texted me…
“Pork shoulder, soy milk, tomato, onion, avocado, gallon ziploc bags, colossal berry crunch”
To soon follow with…
“Is the shopping list I accidentally sent you!”
To which I immediately died laughing. Ah…good times!
